The first day of my first career.

I woke up this morning extra excited about the new day that I have been blessed to see. Guess what day it is. It's not only the first of the rest of my life but it's also the first day of my first career. Today, I will embark on a new journey that will lead to new opportunities and horizons. I welcome and embrace the potential achievements and inevitable challenges. I look forward to loving what I do. I pray that I am placed in an environment that condones and enduces a positive and productive atmosphere.

My place of employment is located in Washington, D.C., the city in which I reside. It is not too far from where I live but there is not adequate parking for all employees. So regularly, I will be taking the metro and connecting with a shuttle that will drop me off right in front of my job.

If you're reading this today, I ask that you say a little prayer for me. I awoke extra early just to make sure I woke up on time and I will leave my house early just to arrive to work on time. And when I mean on time, I mean early.
