Visit TutorTheGlobe.com today to find a tutor or to become a tutor
TutorTheGlobe.com has just been LAUNCHED! If you are looking for a tutor in your area or for online tution, stop by TutorTheGlobe.com. I started this website while teaching in Seoul, South Korea and one of the things that I have noticed is that there are so many American and Canadian teachers looking to tutor on the side to make some extra money. Then, on the otherhand, I've noticed adults looking for in-home tuition for themselves or their children. And needless to say, there are countless amounts of people online looking for in-home and online tuition! Therefore, I thought it would be fitting to a start an online company that provided both services, plus much more!

ESL Play Has Been Published!!!
Today has become a joyous occasion! Here on August 19, 2008, ESL Play has officially been published. ESL Daily of ESLdaily.org wrote an article about our game and gracefully placed it on the front page of their wonderful, informative website. We truly appreciate them for taking the time and effort in writing such a great article. We have been following their work for some time now and have recognized that they provide their consumers valuable information. We are just elated to be considered to have a such news-worthy product.
Here is the link to the actual article. Check it out and do us a favor. Vote on the quality of the article and leave a comment. Thank you much!!!

ESL Play's First Pre-Order!!!
ESL Play received our first request for information concerning the new game being release in late August. The site received a tremendous amount of traffic since its beginning so we are extremely excited about that. Updates will be posted to the site as they are presented. The customer had this to say...
"I'd love to hear more about how much this will cost and get regular updates!"
Much More than Just Flying Through Hoops !!!!!!!!!
A
After testing with children from 4-12 years of age, we found that they absolutely loved the game - however wanted the plane to change color when they flew through the hoops. So we honored that. So that the colours in English are taught thoroughly when playing the game.
You need to go through all of the coloured hoop and then once you get that you will win. So if you miss one you need to go back and get it.
That way you need to say go back and get the "White" hoop then you learn the colour -and it seems fairly simple for the kids to see down the bar on the side what colours they still need to get!!! And with a voice over telling them the colour name they thoroughly learn their colours in this level.
"I like the going through the hoops and getting more petrol" was one of the comments
"can we play again, that is great fun" was another comment
"the plane starts going down when you don't have enough fuel, that is really exciting, then you need to go through the hoops to get more fuel, I liked that!" was another of the comments from the kids who played the demo of the first level of the game.
"It is cool that you can land and then go off and fly about when you have still got petrol left and you have won"
LEARNING IS FUN with ESL PLAY.
"CAN I HAVE A TURN, CAN I HAVE A TURN" Kids are really into the game - Learning Has never been so much fun : )
The kids could not wait until the game was finished to play more!

ESL Computer Game Coming Very Soon!
My ESL (English as a Second Language) computer game is in development right now. It is pretty much the first of it's kind. In a lot of these foreign countries, computer games are what they play. They don't really do the PlayStation and the Wiis like we do in the states. They are computer fanatics. This will pretty much be the first computer game that teaches non-English speakers to speak English. Initially, the game will from Korean to English and then it will be translated into 6 other different languages. This adventurous game will be complete and ready to be sold early August. I have created a blog for it that chronicles its beginning and daily processes. It has many "Sneak Previews" into the game, conversations between the software developers, sound tracks to the game, etc.
When the game is complete, it will be sold on www.eslplay.com (coming soon) as a download (instant access) and as a disc that will be delivered to you.

As the game progresses, it gets better!
My software developers, my partners, did some research and surveyed some kids who play a lot of games. The children informed my partners that they no longer like playing 2D games. So the developers went back to the drawing board and began sketching out some new designs and ideas. Here are a few for you to preview.

My very own ESL Computer Game! It is almost finished. August 1.
Can you believe it?! My very own computer game that teaches children from ages of 4-12. Look at the graphics of one of the screens. The first game will teach Korean children how to speak English. The following games will be translated to 6 different languages. The characters were sketched from scratch. The game will be finished by August 1, 2008
