This past weekend, SLP, the school where I teach , took all of the teachers and staff on an over night rafting trip. I had so much fun chillin' out and hangin' with my fellow foreign and Korean co-workers. Prior to departing, I was a little apprehensive about this whole excursion. I didn't know what to expect. Didn't really know how I should act around the Korean teachers outside of work.
The bus ride was quite interesting, I must say. It took us about 3 hours to get to the site. We rode the cheese buses that our students ride everyday. I thought that was funny. One of my foreign co-workers couldn't stay awake and he ended up dozin' and fallin' on my shoulder. I was trying to write but I couldn't because he kept knocking my writing hand causing me to draw lines all over my paper.
This is where we stayed. Nice right?! It was. Would have been even nicer if there hadn't been so many people staying in it. lol. But it was fun because all of the foreign guy teachers stayed in a room and slept on the floor on mats. The foreign girls had their own room with same sleeping gear. The Korean teachers had there little set up so it was cool.
After we got settled into our lodgings and put our "get soaked gear on", we all then hopped onto a huge charter bus to move right along to the rafting site. Luckily, we didn't have to right those preschool cheese buses again.
These are the life vests we wore so just in case we fell in the water. I tried to wear two but they wouldn't let me. (My first time white water rafting, lol. Wasn't trying to die that day.) I would have taken pictures but they confiscated our cameras. Didn't wanna be liable for damaged or lost articles. Smart!!!

My boss, Mr. Lee (in the black T), and one of the bus drivers. They cool ain't they!
