I went to church today and afterwards, Pastor Kim handed me a card from one of my friends, Jarrod, who I met at the church. We volunteered at the orphanage together on Saturdays. The front of the card said, "GOD IS LOVE." Jarrod is from Canada and he came to Korea pretty much to conduct research on the Korean involvement and affiliation with the Christian church. I appreciated Jarrod a lot because there were many times where felt let pray for me and my well-being. It didn't matter when or where it was. He would just ask me if he could pray for me. And he did, right were we were standing. I thank God for Jarrod's friendship. Well, he returned home to Canada a couple of weeks ago and he left a card with the pastor to give to me. I was surprised and excited to receive the card. Along with a message and a scripture, he included his email address. This way we can keep in touch and maybe in the future, our paths will across once again. The card read like this...

Brother, I am glad that we had this time to meet, if so short a time it was! Cool to hear about what's going on in your life, and also to see your giftedness and love with working with kids!
