Early in the year, around the time when I first got here to Korea, I contacted my undergraduate university to inform them of my accomplishment. My school, Norfolk State University, likes to highlight their graduates when they go off and achieve different levels of success. When I contacted them, the school year was at its end and the editor-in-chief let me know that they would love to write an article about my experiences here in Korea. Needless to say, I followed up with them about a month or so ago and they assured me that they would call to interview me.
It was so funny, the reporter didn't realize the time difference and ended up calling me at 3 in the morning and we didn't get off the phone until like 4 or 4:30am. We had a great interview and conversation. It was remarkable. I was very grateful! However, I don't think I was able to fall back asleep. lol
