It's Time To Study!

I went to church this past Sunday without a Bible. And for the longest time, I had been saying that I was going to go to the bookstore and purchase one. Recently, God has been dealing with me concerning His call on my life. A friend of mine who is also here in Korea, Natarsha, started a set of Christian blogs. One of which is called Potent Praise and the other is called Potent Poetry. The blogs serve as a vehicle for visitors to speak on their struggles, pains, joy, etc. as it concerns to their walk with Christ or their lack thereof. We launched the two blogs no more than a week ago and already close to a thousand people have visited, commented, and submitted poetry, prose, short stories, testimonies, praise reports, etc. But I digress.
I've been in South Korea for more than 7 months and I haven't attempted to study His Word. It's wild because for some months now, I've been figure out what my next step was after Korea and I've been coming to brick wall when it came to options. I know that I have a lot of skills, accomplishments, gifts, and even intelligence, but for the life of me I could not figure out what I had a passion for. I mean, I know that I wouldn't have any problems finding a job. That is not the answer I was looking for. I wanted to know and still want to know what is I was called to do. i must have suffered from short term memory because I forgot to look for "The Answer" in His Word.
So I went to church Sunday with the intentions of stopping by the church bookstore to pick up a bible. While at church, I was spoke to one of the guys, Jsaon, who is from Australia, that I met the Sunday before. We were talking and I was telling about how I recently started to go to church here in Korea, how I always went at home, and how I've just been slackin' on reading His Word. I also told him that I had plans on going to pick one up from the bookstore after church. Watch God!!!

He said,
" I have three bibles at home. I'll let you have one if you like. As a matter of fact, I don't live too far from here. I'll go get it. Just wait here."

This guy came back with the "New International Version" of the bible. On each page, on one side, it has the Korean translation and on the other side, it has the English translation. It was nice. It was practically brand new. God's plan is flawless. It's nothing short of amazing.

I can tell this much. I can't read the Korean side but I sure can read the English side.
