I've been at work since 9:20am. Here it is 6:58pm Korean time and 5:58am US time. I'm tired! But I'm cool because I understand the situation at hand. When in Korea, do as Koreans do, I guess!
So I teach preschool students from 9:30am to 2:20pm. Then I teach elementary students from 2:40pm until 5;30pm. I get it in! I'm so warn out from lifting, carrying, and chasing lil' 4 and 5 year old all day, by the time I get to my elementary classes I'm askin' God to send me energy to appease these medium-sized preteens. I go from teaching little miniture people who have the positive characteristics of a sponge to teaching opinionated, Korean-joke driven wannabe adolescents.
It amazes me to see and feel how much time it takes me to print, resize, lamenate, and add borders to 20 flashcards. I tell you, you never know how much you as a teacher want your students to succeed in life until you have to make weekly flashcards.
